Nanoagents

This project focuses on the production of multifunctional nano carriers to be adapted for specific applications. This includes the design of novel particle systems to be used both as targeted drug devilery carriers and for in-vivo diagnostics. Material, surface topography, size, and other parameters influence the interaction of these specific nano agents with living cells. The influence of nanoparticles on cells and cell systems is investigated and evaluated by superresolution microscopic tools, available at the Imaging Center.
